I Want to Sell Democracy

I was pleased to be part of The Marsh’s Times Unseen Initiative developed and directed by David Ford and Rebecca Fisher.
"A team of Marsh artists with personal connections to the disparate social, geographical, and political regions of America are interviewing people – Americans talking to Americans about family, love, safety, health, finances, in a time of political change. And our artists bring what they hear to the Marsh and make theater of it.”

Times Unseen Initiative

"Times Unseen" was developed and is directed by David Ford and Rebecca Fisher and "will chronicle the effect of political change on individuals. One of the stark lessons of the recent election is the ideological divide between regions in America. We have a team of Marsh artists who have personal connections to the disparate social, geographical, and political regions of America. We are asking them to interview people – Americans talking to Americans about family, love, safety, health, finances etc., in a time of political change. And our artists will bring what they hear back to the Marsh and make theater of it."

San Francisco's Solo Sundays

UPDATE!
ENCORE: I was invited back to present an excerpt of my one-woman show at Solo Sundays in San Francisco’s Stage Werx on Sunday, June 25th 7 pm!
My last performance sold out so buy tickets ahead of time.
Making my debut appearance on May 21, 2017 @ 7 pm at San Francisco's Solo Sundays, a premier showcase where audiences sample the work of veteran virtuosos and emerging talent in the intimate Stage Werx theater in San Francisco's Mission District. Beyond stand-up and storytelling, solo theater creates casts of thousands - plus special effects - all bursting from ONE single performer. The results are hilarious and heartbreaking, passionate and provocative, ablaze with personal visions.
Super excited to be sharing the stage with Lou Kipilman, Allen Conkle, and Wayne Harris. Wayne’s work, like my own, explores the landscape of racial and ethnic conflicts and the quest to find our shared humanity.
